Dr. Kelly McGuire N.D

When I first set out to become a doctor, I was intent on becoming a surgeon. Then I discovered naturopathic medicine - an entirely different way to think about disease prevention and health management with a more proactive model of care. It brings me great joy to help people improve their health, before they need to worry about it.

Naturopathic medicine is not a panacea to greater health and longevity.  Yet, I’ve come to see in my practice that the more proactive we are in managing our health, the greater the chance we have of avoiding disease. Or at least manage our current prognosis in the most active and holistic way.

The human body is complex, incredibly resilient and has the ability to heal itself.  However, the path to health is uniquely different for everyone.  Using an artful blend of science and nature, my practice focuses on how we can help every individual practice good health that works for them.

As your Naturopathic doctor my focus is to understand the holistic you. I play a complementary role on your healthcare team, taking the time to assess who you really are which is greater than the sum of all your individual parts.

I've dedicated my career to keeping up to date on all the latest advancements in conventional and alternative health care to find the solutions that best meet your needs. Keeping in mind and respecting where you are on your health journey.

Together we can find a health practice that works for you.

Nancy Newlove RN, RHN

Hi! I’m Nancy, a holistic nutritionist and registered nurse, passionate about empowering individuals to achieve optimal health and wellness through a natural and integrative approach. With a deep understanding of both the medical and nutritional fields, I focus on the whole person, addressing not just physical health but also emotional and mental well-being by providing personalized guidance that incorporates wholesome foods, lifestyle changes, and mindful practices to help you thrive.

Since 2005, I have worked as a registered nurse with experience in Palliative Care, General Medicine and Public Health, where I have gained valuable knowledge in patient care and an appreciation for the complexities of the human body. My journey into natural medicine began when I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) as a late teen. Struggling with a long list of symptoms, feeling stuck and unsupported, I initiated my search for answers. This is when I turned to a naturopathic doctor who guided me in managing my condition holistically.  Through this experience, I realized the importance of addressing the root cause of a health condition, which led me to discover the profound impact nutrition can have on hormonal balance and overall well-being.  This journey ignited my passion for holistic health, prompting me to learn more about nutrition and healthy living, resulting in the study of holistic nutrition, learning how food can be a powerful tool for healing. After learning more about addressing health from a holistic perspective, I also pursued Reiki, which I practice regularly to promote relaxation and healing.

My goal is to support others on their health journey, using my background in nursing, nutrition, and energy healing to provide a comprehensive approach to wellness.  Having personally navigated the challenges of PCOS, I am particularly passionate about helping others manage weight, blood sugar, insulin resistance, diabetes and metabolic syndrome, through tailored nutrition and lifestyle changes.  I believe in the power of combining traditional medical knowledge with holistic practices which considers physical, emotional, and spiritual health to help individuals achieve balance and vitality in their lives. Together, we can explore sustainable lifestyle changes that resonate with your unique needs and goals.
